I got some immediate traffic from Delicious. Any luck with the others? There are so many on there that I've overwhelmed. I don't know how to find out about all of them.
*I'm, not "I've"--sorry, it's late. Been writing, reading, and researching!
Got immediate traffic there. Not tons, since I don't have a lot of hubs yet, but immediate traffic rising on some hubs that I submitted--more so than Reddit or Dugg, for instance. I'm going to try submitting more; I just didn't want to do too many at once. GrowingDeeper--have you tried Delicious or heard anything about it?
I've tried reddit, and got some immediate traffic from there. However, you cannot post too many links on reddit, and you have to have a really catchy title for redditors to visit your hubs. I haven't tried delicious yet.
I think you are mistaken about the traffic from Delicious. When you submit there it refreshes the page and takes you to the hub that you submitted - and THAT is the delicious traffic that is showing up.
But you have to understand - you are NOT submitting to delicious for traffic from there, it's just a book mark site, but what delicious DOES DO, is get your hubs indexed with the Yahoo search engine.
So long story short - when you submit to Delicious - you will get traffic from yahoo searches.
Interesting, Wesman. I see... Thanks! I'm still learning!
Using Reddit and having a good tittle is key. Also posting at the right time of day helps too. I seem to get more traffic from Reddit during the morning time.
Great thread. I have decided to use Delicious to get myself indexed at Yahoo. Thank you for the heads up Wesman.
Victoria do what you wish and don't let it blow your head. It can be very demotivating. I am in a similar place of learning to yourself.
Socialize, read and have fun whilst writing. You will learn naturally that way with out getting overload.
Victoria I have heard of it and know it is one of the more common bookmarking sites but haven't pursued using it-yet. There are so many and so little time that I try to wade through some of the crap before I just go to every site and plaster links. But, the yahoo factor sort of intrigues me a little so I may start soon.
I think you're right, GrowingDeeper. I think sometimes I try to learn it all at once. There is just so much to learn. I need to wade through some of it too, without getting in too much of a hurry.
Ddraig--exactly! I am enjoying, writing, reading, and talkin with other writers. I need to be satisfied on learning as I go--naturally.

It appears the suggest links tool is not working as intended. When I launch it, it appears to work, but click on an existing link, such as to remove it, results in the dreaded "Working" dialogue and just a...

I'm curious to hear if there are any hubbers, who saw a big drop in traffic after the most recent Google Panda and Penguin updates, have fixed their issues and are getting good traffic again yet?I think it would be good...

This site has been suggested as a way to get traffic. I spent a few hours, which turned into 3 days, to figure out how to navigate it. It appears to be a site about links, not really content, but they get angry if you...

"Paranoia" must think some of you, and honestly, I used to think the same. I didn't even believe that this was possible, even though Google mentioned that they have ways to detect link spamming. But the...

Now, not before, when you place a link, you have a choice to click rel=nofollow so that search engines ignore it. So in future hubs that you write or if you want to go back and edit, do not check this box for links to...

The recent Panda update produced a typical change in traffic for HP shown below.I have often wondered why the change is so immediate and consistent. As shown in the image below it would suggest that the change is not...
