Only if you've been on here for several years and you have the knack of writing hubs that nabs traffic like CRAZY (we're talking 100000 hits and more)

Do not make Hubs full of pictures of Indian movie stars and models.

What if they are Burmese models? Or maybe from Myanmar? Is that okay?

That is because these hubs are useless and do not bring any traffic. Google don't even rank these sorts of hubs. Try making some useful articles and you can get thousands of daily traffic, provided if properly optimized for Search Engine's rankings. You can get daily thousands of traffic, although this isn't a piece of cake, but people are making such kinda money with such sorts of traffic. But contribute something more worthy. Peace.

I strongly disagree, HP is fast emerging as a gossip and celebrity tabloid... contributed by common people. The old version of HP you're talking about is dead long ago by a terrorist attack inspired by Google, named Panda!

No problem TeluguBucket, just carry on! The days when HP (as well as Hollywood) will earn much of their profits from their Indian operations are not far away. smile

Relache has a point. There are a billion hubs about "hot Indian actresses" and outside of hubpages there are a billion sites about "hot indian actresses"

Only 1300 people search for [hot indian actresses]and at less than 10 cents per click... that doesn't pan out to very much.

Furthermore, it's most likely that people who are searching for hot Indian actresses live in India. I mean, Bollywood is becoming more popular in the states, but most people here don't participate in Indian culture. That said, hubs written toward an Indian audience will likely flop because HubPages is geared toward a more American or otherwise English-speaking market of readers.

But that's a side note. There are TONS of Indian writers making money with HubPages. Hot indian actresses is just so overdone that it's just like, "Oh, another indian actresses article/site? Next."

Also, I wouldn't consider HubPages to be the best place for celebrity gossip or current events per the Evergreen Topic thing. Will people be talking about PopularCelebs WhatverHerNameIs's wedding in six months? Probably not.

Here's some useful statistics for you melbel... in India the internet penetration is only less than 5% and there's maximum room to grow for the internet related businesses in coming years. So the scope for future growth for any business related to internet is in India. This is even more relevant with India's economic boom and demographic advantage... more than 70% consumers in India are less than 40!

Yash Chopra movie production house in India is soon going to introduce a top rated Hollywood Superstar (actress) in an Indian movie meant for Indian audiences. smile

100% agreed. You came up with some really good statistics. These sort of crappy hubs are now being overdone.

Besides that, what sort of people will love to see some Telegu actresses anyway, they are aunties which aren't even beautiful tongue

In South India they're in huge demand... you know, even if some of them look really like aunties! wink

Yes, but searches for individual popular Indian actresses will yield results with PR 5+ which is unreachable for most, if not all HubPages users. Especially since the sites in said results are highly optimized for each search result.

It's not a question of popularity for each actress. I believe you when you say that people are interested in actresses from India. However, it's not going to be a huge US market. That's not the point. The point is there's really little chance to rank for it.

Even if a HUGE amount of effort is put toward ranking for something like that, more money could have been made ranking for several, less searched, "niche" interests.
