I've tried to find the answer to my question without success. I had the correct link the last time I looked, but the links I had go to indiscriminate sites. Can someone please let me know what the URL is for the link that my readers would use to go to the HubPages sign up page? Sorry, but I'm a computer dummie.

https://hubpages.com/signin/   You have to be signed out or it takes you to the HP feed.

Be sure to put in your referral tracker. smile

I thought it would be easy, rebekahELLE, but when I put my tracker in the URL what comes up is: "That page doesn;t exist."  Although it does work if I don't put my tracker in it. Am I doing something wrong? (I used the underscore with the tracker.)

I am trying to figure out the same thing. I tried different ways and it didn't work.
I know Hubpages learning center explains this, but I tried it using their explanation and it still didn't work.

The last time I used the tracker for a signin link, I used:

    http://hubpages.com/_SAMPLETRACKERNOTFORREAL/signin

Sorry you're having problems.. I looked at the learning center and found this:

[i]Checking out the Referral Trackers link on your “My Account” page.
To use this Referral Tracker, in the link after hubpages.com, simply insert a slash, an underscore, and your unique Referral Tracker (leave the rest of the link untouched).

For example, say your default Referral Tracker is 1dukongemb7x8 and you want to give a friend a link to the HubPages signup page (http://hubpages.com/user/new/), then the specially-encoded link you'll want to send your friend to click on is:

    http://hubpages.com/_1dukongemb7x8/user/new/[i]

    http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/url- … te-program

Also darkside has a thorough hub about trackers and how to use them.
    I hope this helps.

hmm, I went to your profile page and hovered over the sign in link. Try going to Edit and click on the link icon, after .hubpages.com/  insert /_yourtracker/   before /signin, and see it that works. I always sign out to see if it directs to the page.

I hope it works. I know it's frustrating. I had trouble at first also.

I've  been doing that, but it doesn't work when I put the tracker in. It works fine if I don't put the tracker in.

    I use the following url ... http://hubpages.com /_XXXXXX / user / new /

where the _xxxxx would be your tracker smile hope that helps and MINUS the spaces lol . I highly recommend saving the URLS in a file for your Hubs, Hub site, and sign up pages. Just so you can speed up the copy and paste quickly as you're doing your promoting big_smile
