I'm new to the HubPages community, and I've asked a few questions here in the forums before. I love how helpful and welcoming everyone has been!
Before I start uploading my articles, what exactly is backlinking and keyword research? When looking at Hubs that explain how to be successful on Hubpages, I see these phrases pop up. Can someone explain them to me in layman's terms please? I've tried looking them up on the internet, and I'm getting a bit confused
What keywords would reach your article through a search engine? (That's keyword research)
What places link to your article? (That's backlinking)
The learning center has all the information you need .. both on Keyword search and backlinking..look up the topics on selecting your title and getting traffic.. there is a wealth of information out there.
You could also do a search in the search box for each of these terms and you would find come up with some fantastic hubs on both the topics.
Have a wonderful time learning !!
