Low eCPM Lately :(

Is September a bad month for eCPM? Are advertisers bidding less or something?

My earnings could be quite a bit higher this month if my eCPM was more average, or similar to last month.

Is this Google or Hub Ads that you are talking?

The HP ads, but Adsense has also been low, but that is understandable because the HP ads are on.

        (Effective cost-per-thousand impressions)

It's the amount of money you make every 1000 views. If that goes up and traffic stays the same, you will make more.

My HubPages ad eCPM is higher so far this month over last month, but it's down a bit from where it was in late spring and early summer.

    Wow sad

Yesterday I got a lot more traffic than I normally was getting, but my CPM was so low it did not make much a difference in terms of earnings..

I hope this low CPM trend does not continue forever..

Last month my cpm on hubads dropped below $1 for a few days.  At that point I had had enough so turned the ads off, Adsense earning are way up this month and so will be keeping Hub ads off.

I sure would like to know what is going on...my traffic has never been so low.  I might as well be invisible.
