I was relaxing with my iPhone and reading Hub Pages and I was dismayed to find a number of Hub Pages where the Hub is no longer published. I thought as an author when I unpublish, it is no longer there for the reader - at all.
Is there anyway, to take this link away so the reader never runs into a hub that is no longer published?
I realize they may republish the Hub but in the mean time it is wasting the valuable time of the reader.
Depends where you followed the link from.
If another hubber has linked to a hub that has since been unpublished, that hubber will have a warning on their account page that they have broken link/s. However it is up to them to remove it.
If the link was in any way through a search engine, it can take several weeks for an unpublished hub to be de-indexed.
