An ongoing story part 4. Not yet published. Violation warning when saved.
The following is the text in the hub at the moment:- read for yourself and tell me what is wrong here. Please I need to know
**************************************
“You a Christian Dave?” Helen asked.
“I used to be,” he replied.
“What you mean, you used to be? You don't believe in God anymore?”
“I don't know ma'am, I don't know,” he said and quickly turned away.
Helen could see that Dave was uncomfortable, for a second she saw the pain in his eyes and on his face before he turned away. She decided not to press him about it. They just met so she didn't want him to feel like he had to be a Christian to be a part of the family. She was just curious because he had looked with such intensity at the bible verse she had been reading.
Hiya, I just went to take a look and I can't see part 4! the last one you have up is part three? and the ads are fine on that one, are you sure you published it okay?
Sorry Nell, it's not yet published but I need to know what triggered the warning.
Sounds like a glitch to me, unless you slipped in some words that have triggered it, lol! I would check everything, are you sure its an ad warning? maybe you have too many links or something, sorry, can't think of anything else
The above is the exact text that is currently in the hub. What word in there would trigger that violation?
There are no links, nothing but the above text that I posted. I don't usually use links for my short stories unless they are linking to each other and only when the story is finished and ready to publish do I add any link.
This is what I did:
Start a new hub
type my title
choose category
add tags
copy and paste my text
save
then viola the violation warning that my ads have been disbled due to a HP or Adsense violation.
Sorry I can't help, I think I would either copy and paste and start again, or sign out and have another go, either way good luck!
Thanks Nell but I double checked and it did say ads disabled for some kind of violation.
You should generally ignore any warnings that appear while you draft your Hub, and just check for them immediately before publication. When the filters have only a little text to work with, it skews the results.

One of my hubs was just flagged at being at risk for a Google Adsense program policy violation. I have no idea why except that I posted that hub url on She Told Me and Xomba. If anyone has any idea about the possible reason for this, please let me know. Many thanks in advance.

Are There Any Disadvantages To Disabling Pinterest?I noticed I can disable Pinterest. Are there any disadvantages to not allowing Pinterest users to pin my Hubs? Conversely, are there any advantages to allowing Pinterest? I heard some artists don't like Pinterest because it does...

I am not sure how you do it, but I remember reading somewhere that you can disable right click on your articles to stop them being plagiarised by copy and paste, do you think its a good idea? Or do you believe that 'they' are stealing them in a different way? another thing, maybe if when we publish...

Have you ever had a violation warning on HubPages?I just got my first one saying that my original poem was under review for a duplication violation. The hub police even unpublished my poem and is reviewing it. All is not well in Hubville.
