I'm new to all this. I signed up with Amazon Affiliates, but where the Hub Page asks for my "Affiliate Code" I post my "Unique ID" but it says it does not recognize it. The comment says my ID does not look like other IDs. Can someone help me with this?
The value you entered may be correct, but it is a little unusual that it beings with http. I would suggest logging into to your amazon associates account. The value you want to enter here should be shown in the top left corner under in a drop down under "Tracking ID". Just make sure it (or one of them) matches what you have entered at HubPages.
Thanks pauldeeds, but it seems there's something amiss. The top left box you refer to lists the exact same http number for: Signed In As -- and for Tracking ID. There doesn't seem to be a dropdown, just the http number. This is the same number they tell me is my Unique Associates ID. Sorry to be so troublesome.
