Zoo To Split Gay Penguins Buddy and Pedro (Video)
    November 07, 2011 04:35 PM EST

A Zoo in Canada will split gay penguins Buddy and Pedro. Canadian officials say the African penguins show signs of mating rituals and same-sex behavior usually seen towards females. The problem is there are no girls around for courtship.

The developing story of this pair is similar to another famous duo that made headlines in New York in 1999. Back then, Silo and Roy, two chinstrap penguins became famous overnight for their same-sex attraction and mating rituals.

Since then, they've been separated. One even has taken up residence with a female penguin in Central Park Zoo.

However, all the attention is now turned to Buddy and Pedro. But why does the zoo want to split the gay penguins?

Stacey, as I recall you always seem to come up with some bizarre stories!

Where on earth did you find this?

I know some gay dogs but it doesn't bother me. I would let them be. They are animals and cannot cause any arm by being gay.
