HP has a lot of great articles here. To take advantage of the traffic from social medias I think it would be great to create a Hubpages social reading app like the Washington Post Social Reader (https://apps.facebook.com/wpsocialreader/) . Now most of the time the article from this app top my facebook newsfeed. Its a great opportunity and is not very difficult to create one app. This could give more traffic to socially relevant articles which are not listed in search engine results solely because of SEO.

I personally hate the new way that news articles are now shared. I don't want my whole life to revolve around Facebook. That said, you can change it so only YOU can view what you've read, which maintains your privacy.

Then again you're probably right, it is the way of the future.

This is a given! Now just to figure out how to get my ref link in there smile

and its easy to opt out of the readers/sharing on FB .. I bet most people do a zombie and just accept the apps when they click a link on facebook... umm, dont

Its not with the 'Facebook' n 'Google' brands anymore. The socialmedia is a new revolution in Internet. As long as we write hubs we cant miss any channels that could bring in traffic. Smartphones and social apps are hiking online shopping extensively (http://www.thinkwithgoogle.com/insights/). We, as the major presenters of 'Zero Moment Of Truth' in the internet should claim more exposure to our voice from the social traffic online.

Failure to adapt with changes will cause us to perish. In my opinion its high time HP redesigned the entire UI with HTML5 like the google blog templates (http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/09/ … share.html) and launch an android and iphone app for hub publishing an reading.
