At the bottom of each hub next to the voting buttons you will see the share button, that allows you to share it with followers.
Sharing your hubs with followers puts your hub on the feed and its visibility is pretty high. Your hubs are also notified by mail to your followers who have subscribed to HP mail notifications..you don't have to do anything about that..just write your hubs and this automated process takes care of that.
