HubPages is going to be down for a couple of hours tonight, starting around 11pm Pacific time (in about 4 hours).   We're going to be making a couple of changes in our data center that should improve the performance of the site today, and help us grow smoothly in the future.  Apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you.

They are just technical issues with web and database servers -- no new features, and hopefully nothing you will even notice except in the continued smooth operation of the site.

I thought that was my computer refusing to reload the page lol, at first it just showed html code but I saw the "hubpages is down for.." message in there somewhere so...

      all is good now..

Only thing i did notice is that Uploading of New Photos in "Edit Mode" is taking more time than usual.

I will be glad if Hubpages includes below request in Future Upgrade Manitenance.

Uploading of photos in photo capsule sometimes seems to be taking lot of time and it willl be good if we are able to know the percentage of loading of photos at the moment. For example : 50% completed---80% completed or 2 minutes remaining just like that. Without this in some cases it is difficult to know whether the photos are uploading or not.

We'll put this into our todo list.  There is a total size limit for images you can upload at once.  If you are uploading large files I'd recommend doing no more than 2 or 3 at a time.  For smaller files, 8-10 at a time is probably safe.
