Easier Way to Reply to Comments?

Hello, I know I suggest too many new features, but I noticed that it is very easy to respond to comments on the HubPages iPhone app.  I have the comment right in front of me and have three choices underneath, "Deny," "Approve," and "Reply."  I just click on "Approve," then "Reply" and I can thank them for their comment and answer questions without having to go to the hub itself.

On the computer (or website), I have to go to the actual hub before I can reply.  Maybe we could add a reply option in "my account" where the choice to approve or deny is?  Just a suggestion.

I have a slight problem. When I moderate the comments, I can only see 2 options. I can either "Approve" or "Deny", but there is not a "Reply" button to hit. Anybody else have this issue?

    Hey Brittany,

Depending on the settings of the comment capsule on the hub, if the comment goes through without having to be moderated by you, then you can reply by simply being on the Feed.

If the settings on the comment capsule are so you can moderate comments before approval, then you would have to first approve the comment. Once you approve the comment, load the Feed, instead of traveling to the hub and reply on the Feed.

I understand what you're saying. wink

Thanks, Cagsil. smile  I moderate  my comments 'cause I've been a victim of a few abusive comments.

Thanks for the helpful tips on how to reply easily.  I will definitely do the "Approve" then go to feed method in the future.

I've been abused in some of the comments left on my hubs and that's why every hub that can have a comment left is moderated. wink

On another thought, just to let you know, you can also just travel to the hub and approve the comment from there and then leave a comment. It's understood that you moderate your comments and you can click on comments in "my account" section, but you don't necessarily have to approve the comment there. wink

Just another thought for you. smile

    Cagsil,

I would also like to be able to add the comment from my account - the moderation capsule. Sometimes I have numerous comments on several hubs and have to keep coming back to see which hubs I need to go to reply to. I know I can approve or deny right there but say 20 replies for 10 hubs is time consuming to keep going back and for for each reply.

Yay!  They added this feature!!!  I don't know if it was because of my suggestion or not, but I'm stoked!
