    Hey guys,

I'm brand new here. I just lost my hubpages virginity.

Can I get some advice on the format, and layout? I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing yet, but with some words of wisdom from the community I hope to learn.

    Here's my first post http://jfobtq.hubpages.com/hub/Recordingnewb

    Thanks in advance,

Welcome to HubPages, JF.  The first thing you need to know is there are no links to your articles allowed on these forums except in the Extreme Makeover Forum.  You might be best to edit the link in your post and place it in the suggested forum for others to advise you on your first hub.  smile

This is the extreme makeover forum. (Unless the thread was moved.)

The title could use some work. I'm not sure what it means. Interesting hub, though!

This article can help you find a really good title:

I got it from the Learning Center:

One bit of advice--- don't try to learn everything at once. Keep a slow but steady pace and you will learn a lot by reading and doing. Good luck, and welcome.

    Thank you for the advice.

The thread was moved due to the link I'd imagine. I couldn't remove it in time before it was finalized.

Melbel, I'll check out the links.

    Thanks again

It's not bad at all for a first time out.  A bit short.  You might consider adding a text box telling people why you like Reaper over the others.  Keep it short and push the box to the right and up so the article has more interest to the eye - sort of a magazine format.

Your next article could go into some of the settings you use on Reaper and why or pick some other detail of your recording and go into it as a separate topic.

Using title tuner is helpful.  Try to incorporate the words they suggest that are at least 50% or better into your title.

    Well done.
