Please pray for my countrymen

My birthplace (Northern Mindanao) and Visayas, Philippines, have been devastated by Tropical Storm Washi or Tropical Storm Sendong. Hundreds have died, almost a thousand people are still unaccounted for and more than 10,000 families are now in the evacuation center. Please pray for them. Donations are always welcome but your prayers will be more than enough. Thank you.

I am lucky that the area that I am staying in has not been too badly affected, but what I see everyday here on the news is horrific. I really feel for all of those affected.

LeanMan, you're in Negros right? I'm not reading a lot about the effects in Visayas, it's all Mindanao.

Our countrymen really need all the prayers that they can get. How devastating Sendong was! Hope the coming year will not have the same destructive calamities. We've had enough of them. sad

Hi lobobrandon. Not really looking good. More dead bodies are being discovered and there are still lots of people in the evacuation centers. We're now in a state of calamity. Do you have your friend's location?
