I'm seeing 5 stars(*****) for a hub which I haven't bookmarked or submitted to any such sites/directories. Do the stars mean the search engine referrals or something else? And, 5 stars stand for how many incoming links?
Can anyone explain? Thanks
HubPages does not specify what number(s) five stars means but it implies you have a good amount of links coming back to a Hub. And it doesn't mean only links created by you. I tend to not do any social bookmarking and I've got plenty of hubs with good incoming links.
If you want specific data, go see what your Google Analytics says about that Hub.

There is only 1 asterisk in Incoming Links portion of Hubmetrics in all of my hubs. What should I do to increase incoming links?
