Being made homeless must be terrifying. It is a constant worry I have, but thankfully it hasn't got that far yet. But being blind too just adds injury to insult. Reality often falls short of what we would wish it to be.

No insurance or good doctors, you mean? I can't imagine how frightening that must be.
My son has a rare eye disease that puts him at risk of going blind in one eye... Fortunately, we live in the same city as the best specialist in pediatric retinology, so we've been very lucky. I'm sorry you're dealing with this.
