Is there a way for me to add a search icon to specify my search for HP articles only?
When you use HubPages search, there's an option to specify just Hubs for your results. Have you thought of bookmarking that?
Im not sure what widget or even what OS you are using for your desktop search. But, if it allows you a custom entry, simply append:
site:hubpages.com to appear by default or as an addition to a custom engine.
