For the last 7 days, HP Ad Program shows 126 page views for my hubs, but Google AdSense shows only 44. Why is there such a large difference?
The views are calculated differently for AdSense and HP. HP will record a view after a shorter amount of time than Google. (Meaning that for Google to record a view, the viewer must stay on the page for a longer period of time than it takes for HP to record the view.) I don't know the specific amount of time for each to record a view, but I hope this helps.
Thanks for your answer to my question. You have cleared up my confusion on this issue. Take care and good luck to you.
You're welcome! I wish I had better news to share, but unfortunately, this is how it works. The HP Ads Program has been much more profitable for me than Google AdSense. I am now thinking this trend is because of the view-length recorder.
Good luck and take care.
