I discovered ask ville lately and answered some questions to get some links .anyone using this and getting more traffic?
Has a high PR, although I can't remember ever coming across it in a search result.
I couldn't see anything about not posting self promotional links in the ToS, although I might have missed it - probably best not to post too many anyway.
Askville specifically prohibits self-promotional links in their TOS. It falls under their definition of "unsolicited advertisements or spam" here:
Members are vigilant about reporting such links, and they do get removed.
Before they are removed, links that the users view as spam attempts generally draw out ugly remarks and disparaging reviews about the mentioned product or link.
Trying to promote yourself or generate link traffic through Askville is really not worth the effort.

Someone recently stated that there are limits to how much you can link to your own hubs. Does anybody know the limitations?
