Could some of the veterans of hubpages show me the ropes when it comes to attracting traffic to my hubs as well as gaining followers?
The first thing I would do is change my avatar and my user name. There are a lot of Hubbers who have a strong faith in God that will take offence (me included). I don't think I would follow someone who doesnt' have the same basic beliefs and interests as I do. Suit yourself, but you did ask for advice.
I think your handle is a little suggestive, Anthony. You know, the kind that would be applied to a sock puppet with intentions of stirring up the good Christian folks. May your stirrings bring the rewards you seek!!
