Hub writers write with the belief that their Hubs that they have created belong to them the writer.

Is there any form of Copyright protection at Hub Pages that insures the safety of the writer's articles once published?

Does Hub Pages have any legal responsibility to its writers to protect their work from plagerists?

There is a copyright notice at the bottom of every hub you publish (put there by Hubpages), and that is your protection.
If you find your work copied, it is up to you, the author and owner of the work, to chase up the plagiarist.
