Question about Activating Google Adsense

So I just signed up for Google Adsense and I believe I successfully activated my account.  However, the email I received from Google Adsense states the following:

"Your Google AdSense application has been approved. You'll soon begin to see relevant Google ads appear on http://billseemiller.hubpages.com/hub/G … ere".

I'm confused as to why relevant Google ads would only start appearing on one of my hubs and not all of them?  Wouldn't ads begin to appear on all of my hubs?  Is there something else I have to configure to make sure this is working properly?

    Thanks,

    Bill

Sounds like you submitted the URL of one of your hubs when applying (as opposed to your profile URL). If you only just signed up for it you would not normally get immediate approval, so I am a little bemused by your post. It took several days for my Adsense to be approved when I started here as they need to vet your online content.
If you are approved they should have given you a 'pub ID' which you need to enter in the Adsense area of your 'My Account-Earnings on Hubpages (click configure and enter it). Once you have done this you will then start earning on all of your hubs on HP.

        Misty,

Thanks for your response.  When I said "I just signed up", I meant a few days ago.  I didn't get an immediate approval from Google Adsense, it took a couple of days.

I don't recall linking directly to one of my hubs instead of my profile when applying, but I suppose it's possible.

I did however, just go to "My Account" > "Earnings" and see that I already have an affiliate code under the Google Adsense category.  When I click "Configure", I get the following message in red:

"It appears that you already have an approved Google AdSense Account associated with HubPages, with the publisher id (removed from public post). You should not apply again, as each person is only allowed to have a single Google AdSense Account"

Does this mean it's setup correctly and Google ads will appear and link to my account on all my hubs?

        Thanks,

        Bill

Sounds perfect to me, but I had to manually add my code to Hubpages, that said, I can't recall if I applied through Hubpages or directly. It is possible I guess that your code could be automatically applied to your HP account if you applied through them (I don't know if this is what you did though). From what you are describing it sounds as if all is correct to me.

Misty, thanks for your input.  Maybe they recently changed the process and it's more automated now.  I actually thought everything was fine until I received that email making it sound like ads were only going to appear on one of my hubs.  Very strange.
