That's great smile What's the accelerated reader award supposed to be? Reading a particular number of words in a minute or something?

It has do with reading books and taking tests on them. Thanks!

You have every right to be proud, Habee.
And it's neat to feel part of your grandson's honors.
Please tell him your HP friends are proud of him, too!

Thanks, guys! I brought him home with me after the ceremony and going out to lunch. I also took him out to dinner and bought him a new rod and reel. I'm taking him fishing in the morning. That boy had rather fish than eat when he's hungry! lol

Ha. Well you know what they say, Habee.
Give a boy a fish and he'll eat for a day.
Teach him to fish and he'll win all kinds of academic awards.
      lol

As one proud grandma to another:  I don't blame you for bragging!  I would brag, too.  Tell him we are all proud of him.  Catch lots of fish!
