I just saw that. Someone asked about a change in society, from a point of view that disagrees with it based on religion. I saw several very nice and rational answers that were not in agreement with the questioner's point of view. I just went back to look at it again, and all of those answers are gone. Only the answers that said, yes, isn't this change against all religious principles are remaining. Very interesting.
As far as I know, individual authors have the power to delete answers. I find this ridiculous and one reason I haven't bothered with the new setup of Questions and Answers.
I agree.. it defeats the whole purpose of gaining objective and relevant answers which help to draw the question out into some significance which has then the ability to drive traffic.
Of course we mustn't overlook the fact that there are an ever increasing number of Fools using the net and therefore sites like this!
Aren't we lucky that we are able to spot them by such actions as you refer to?
True. True. I also agree with Cagsil. When someone asks a blatantly leading question, then deletes all of the answers that provide any view that isn't very much in agreement, that isn't a place for discussion. It's just a cheap new place for propaganda. And I'm sure they thank HP fervently.

I am curious some questions in "Answers" sections tend to get all negatives votes, no matter how one answers. It happens mostly on a few type of questions, or hubbers. Have you noticed it? I am almost feel...

Back in November, I deleted a hub. I just noticed today that the intro-blurb I had at the top of the article appears under the "More in this Series" section under another hub. Click on the heading...

Has anyone noticed that the "Related Discussions" feature seems to show threads that are years old, many of which the folks who started them are no longer here or don't even participate in the forums anymore?...
