Like the title indicates, I am having a big deal of trouble with AdSense. I was told that I could not edit the HTML code to insert the code AdSense gave me and instead and could use a widget that could be found on the right side of the post editor. When I checked that, I could not find it. I thought the "code" capsule was it, but that is not meant to edit the html.
You take your Adsense ID (top of adsense page in gray type) and put it here https://hubpages.com/my/earnings/affiliate/google
That is all you need to do.
I created an AdSense account after starting HubPages so I have "no" selected on that page. Under that there is no place to put the AdSense ID.
i tried that. no luck. see my post to this forum please
We don't use the html. Use the --> pub - xxxxxxxxxx part only. Insert into the field for Adsense. Deselect the 'No', refresh page, and maybe, the field should be open to insert your pub #.
Ok my account is approved. Apparently all I had to do is wait. Or something.
