Adding HTML to a Capsule

How do I add HTML to a capsule or is it even possible to do this? The HTML button in the text capsule only seems to allow editing of HTML of text which has been entered.

You can't add HTML to a hub. So if you want your own widgets or something, it's not possible, as far as I know.

You can add some HTML directly into the HTML editor, like bold and italics, but anything fancier than that will get stripped out.  No banners and images. It's to prevent people going overboard with colors, blinking text, and malicious scripts and whatnot.  It's bad enough that we already have some people who think it's ok to write an article in all-bold all-italic caps... hmm

Thats a pity because I wanted to do some do fancy stuff with Google Maps and Street view using HTML and Java script. The map capsule is very basic and limited.
