Copyright free aircraft plans

CFAIR is a series of Yahoo groups

A clearinghouse of copyright free aircraft/airplane plans NO "pirate" plans will be found here and NO TRADING is allowed. All of the plans are: RELEASED to the public domain by the copyright holder OR the copyright has lapsed OR the copyright holder is NOT defending the copyright. REMEMBER some of these plans are old and outdated. If you want to build an aircraft JOIN EAA and any discussion groups or forums you can find with information relevant to your plan of choice. I have scoured the web for plans that are freely available and collected them here.I am trying to limit the collection to plans for which there are flying examples. Simply join the Yahoo groups and download all the plans you want.

Thank you for the plans I've downloaded.

I wish Stits plans were available other than through SDASM. It makes me think they were destroyed in their fire. Any other available options?

I first saw the inflatoplane on a 1950's newsreel, and built my own inflatable glider that fitted inside a suitcase,Built for extra slow speed, wing span 24 feet, wing fuselage 8.5 feet at centre and a depth max 2.5 feet,no supporting structure and pilot was held in by round centre hole compressing on body all held together with duct tape bringing empty weight up to 18lbs test flights proved safe under all conditions flight not too succesful though
