Did You Know That... - Interesting Facts Part 2

As you may already know, I have started a weekly "Did You Know That..." facts session. Welcome to the second week of quick and interesting facts.


Did you know that water can glow due to phytoplankton? This is called bioluminescence, which is an emission of light by a living organism.


Did you know that when a person sees someone he or she loves, the body produces a special substance - dopamine that causes the feelings of pleasure and joy?


Did you know that the tallest model in the world is six-foot, 8-inch (2 meters 5 centimeters) Amazon Eve?


Did you know that during one hour of typing, our body loses approximately 105 calories?


Did you know that the most number of tries to pass a written exam for a driver's license is 950? Cha Sa-soon, 68-year-old Korean was trying to pass the test since April 2005 with near-daily attempts, and succeeded on her 950th try.

I knew that wood could glow due to a fungus of some kind, but never knew about water. This is a great idea, I hope you continue with it, voted up and interesting.
