The Inner Flaneur
Welcome to my Hubpage. About three years ago, in 2007 I began blogging on another forum and found myself deeply inspired by the richness of the words that flowed from my keyboard. Dr. Mihaly Csiksentmihayli wrote a book entitled "Flow" in the 1990's and it is this book that inpired me to allow the natural flow of my own ideas and feelings to come alive on the page.
I am a teacher, a writer and a student of life. My great loves are literature, and I am a certified bibliophile. I love the Victorian writers and all things French. The French Enlightenment period, the Victorian flaneur who stolled the streets of Paris, Roland Barthes, Voltaire, Diderot, and Rousseau and the salons of the French Enlightenment. As a student and teacher of the Humanities, I seek to inspire others to "think for themselves" or Sapere Aude!
Bowing humbly to you all, I remain....blessed and inspired by life.
