Flowers, God's Redeeming Gifts of Life
The beauty revealed in a single bloom,
in a flowering rose, a tribute to humanity,
The creator of heaven and Earth, to reveal,
in all of His most genuine generosity.
The flowers of all life, beacons to the world,
as a promise that the Father has made,
No greater love and wealth from above,
for us, in his love, and it, never will we trade.
Every creature so depends upon this gift,
and the warmth of the sun's precious light,
Bathed in the glory, as is told, this fine story,
of how this kindness given, in all His might.
Giving food to feed the world, and for babes,
all so curled, every living soul, its sustenance,
Each precious and beautiful flower, giving life,
in every hour, much provided, in such abundance.
Blooming, in all radiance, is part of its fond cadence,
Its heartbeats a part, the living breath of life sustains,
The garden of life to send, the loving spirit held within,
As for all eternity, shall in wonder, forever, it remains.
