Get Through Any Disaster – What You Need To Know: Finding The Ultimate Safe Haven I

Here is a purely personal list of all the countries of the world where I have graded the feasibility of locating these safe havens. I have taken much into consideration for these listings, and the criteria would fill another entire series of Hubs. Some of the factors are:

  • Availability of food and water
  • Climate
  • Current law & order status
  • Indigenous diseases
  • Isolation
  • Percentage of the population which is armed
  • Population density
  • Proximity to civilization
  • Size of the areas of remoteness

The rating is from ( A ) to ( F ). ( A ) indicates that somewhere in this country you will have the absolute best chance at founding your new home, and ( F ) means that if you don't get killed on the way there, you'll likely succumb soon after arriving.

Keep in mind that the ratings do not take into consideration the entire country, but only the most isolated and remote areas of it. In a country like the United States, the Boston to Washington D.C. corridor would have a drastically lower rating than the New Mexico desert. I am only rating the most remote and most survivable locations in each nation. Places where there isn't a telephone or electric line anywhere in sight and with the barest trail (not road) leading to it.
