Blue Scorpion Venom Becomes Cancer Remedy

In Search Of Evidence | A Cuban company that makes a variety of products now makes a homeopathic remedy from the blue scorpion venom especially for cancer patients.

Labiofam representatives travel the world to let others know about this potent drug. Vidatox has anti-tumorial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory qualities that help improve the quality of life of cancer patients, according to Labiofam. The company presents the product as a “natural, complementary alternative in the treatment of oncological patients.”

Everything you would ever want to learn about scorpions can be found on the internet. Maps show what locations on earth they can live, the type of environment and temperate climate. You may learn about their behavior, life cycle and a description of their body type. The 2000 species may be a variety of sizes, shapes, colors and markings that indicate their predatory nature. Related to spiders, mites and ticks which suck the blood of the victim, nocturnal scorpions come out at night to prey; and they may also be food for other animals in the wild.

You may not know that scorpions energy, in homeopathic form may be incredibly healing for someone who relates to this type of Arachnid.

Annette Sneevliet presented at the April 10, 2011 Annual National Center for Homeopathy Conference a highly unusual and successful case of a woman with severe headaches. This lady suffered for 30 years with pain in both the left side of head and her heart. She was shown clutching both the head with her left hand and the heart with her right, as she told her story.

The case was presented to illustrate how the body speaks and provides the information needed to heal, if we could only listen and observe. When a homeopathic practitioner, or a healer of any kind, provides the space for a person to express his or her inner sensations, the voice of the required remedy can speak.

This requires the healer to take the self out of the equation. Only witnessing the other by becoming the receiver to the encoded messaging system. This hard work has been evolving over a decade as we learn the method. Healers may not direct the flow of ideas or thoughts. You might call it a type of meditation.

Success results from this amazing system when the pain, suffering and disorder leave the body; including irritating and distressful thoughts, dreams, and imaginings of the mind. Like taking an eraser to the blackboard, the marks disappear, the slate is clear.

Conference participants heard Dr. Annette Sneevliet, a widely respected teacher throughout Europe, give this seminar. Skeptical of homeopathy, Annette Sneevliet, MD began studying homoeopathy in 1982 during her medical training. Her extensive three-year full time homoeopathic training at the practice and school of Alfons Geukens in Belgium stimulated her thirst to study further with Massimo Mangialavori and Rajan Sankaran

Her ability to take a back seat and leave her ego on the side while the patient takes her on this journey enabled us to listen to the description beyond the typical physical, emotional and mental states we consider when going to the doctor.

Scorpion | Not the Death Dealers of Arizona Legends

At least 38 scorpion species inhabit the state of Arizona. Most people will only encounter 2-3 of these species.

Bark Scorpion Symptoms

The most common and notorious with a size of 1-3 inches long can be found under rocks, logs, tree bark, and in homes. Its venom may produce severe pain, but rarely swelling, at the sting site. More serious affects include numbness, frothing at the mouth, breathing difficulties, muscle twitching, and convulsions, but these usually only occur in people who are allergic to the sting. There have been no reports of death from the bark scorpion, although myths abound.

Desert Hairy Scorpion

At a size of 6 inches in length, the shy desert hairy scorpion burrows into the soil and has a very weak venom.

Stripe-Tailed Scorpion

This scorpion has an intermediate size and gives a painful sting, but the pain usually subsides in a short time.

Control of Scorpions

Just like keeping mosquitoes at bay, the best way to deter them is to eliminate places where they love to live. Insecticides have little effectiveness. The best control methods include getting rid of the places where they or their prey hide near your home. Install weather-stripping, caulk around cracks, and keep windows tight. If you manage their food source, you'll keep scorpion populations down.

Shots Blog

Quite amusing that the NPR Health editors used entitled blog their blog "Shots." This can be interpreted as have a 'shot' at it and have your say, or as the vaccination injection - a 'shot.' Pretty witty thinking with lots of innuendo's and multiple meanings.

This leads you to a blog on the new anti-scorpion venom called 'anascorp' and the story about this life saving drug especially for young children. When these scorpions sting, they inject a potent neurotoxin, which can be life-threatening for young children and infants. Severe reactions to the stings are seen in more than 200 children each year in Arizona, alone.

The most common side effects of the treatment are vomiting, fever and rash.

The drug, marketed by Rare Disease Therapeutics of Nashville, Tenn. costs $3,500 per vial at the wholesale price per vial of Anascorp will be $3,500. The recommended dose is three vials per patient, so treatment will typically cost more than $10,000.

The antivenom is derived from the plasma of horses injected with scorpion venom. The 'All Things Considered' show talks with Monica Ortiz Uribe of station KRWG in Las Cruces, N.M. about the making of the new anti-venom drug.

Scorpion care guide, photos and habitat information

Egypt Unwrapped The Race to Bury Tut by National Geographic. Egypt unwrapped searches for Egypt's lost treasures and redefines the way we look at the country.

This ancient species can survive desert heat by going into a hole in the sand. Some can change their metabolic rate like the yogis or shamans, enabling them to live on only one meal annually, or living through a deep freeze. We think of bears hibernating, but this spider-like species can perform this feat, as well.

Egypt and the Scorpion

Everyone has heard the relationship between ancient egypt, the pharoahs and queens and the scorpion as killer in the palace.

  • And like a Scorpion whipt by others firft To fury fting your felf in mad Revenge I would bring Balm and pour it in your Wounds Cure your diftemper d mind and heal your fortunes Ant I know thou would ft Vent I will Ant Ha ha ha ha Vent You Laugh Ant I do to fee officious love Give Cordials to the dead Vent You would be loft then Ant I am Vent I fay you are not

At the video presentation, we observed the patient describe the life of the scorpion. She appeared to be in a hypnotic state, speaking, as if through another time zone or plane. Who wouldn't want to pluck off this insect before it could sting and inject this most poisonous venom into the skin. Certainly fear would run through th e mind and veins. Some type of painful experience had to have initiated this type of illusionary reaction.

Everything has a positive side and play a role in the ecosystem. Obviously, if they lived 430 million years ago, or some similar species of the modern scorpion, they must be a place and a need for them. Fortunately, the energy of this insect can be used to heal those who maintain this state at the present time.

We learned in the seminars that each person has individualized symptoms. This means they are characteristic to the patient

Scorpions Born To Touch Your Feelings

Scorpion Science

In The Body Of The Affected

In the patient's own words she says that it is like something sitting on her head. At this point she illustrates in gesture, her hand goes up to the head and 'clamps' on. Her desire to take it off and throw it down appears very real. When she does this, the pain goes away. In this hypnotic-like state she speaks her truth in the story and the body's movements.

We must learn to listen further and deeper as the story continues to unfold. One important point, never start thinking or speculating because the patient typically will not NAME the substance of which he or she speaks.

The trick is to hold the space, so the speaker can convey as much information as possible. Listen for key words which describe the substance. What we learned from this case was the incredible sensitivity of scorpions to the sun.

Haiku

When hot sun rays shine
on it is gone fast
runs into the dark.

Lurking in the sand
she scrambles out attacking
the unsuspecting.

When smallest amount
of sun hits the head crushing
migraine disappears.

Curved fingers forming
the grip of poisonous death
grabbing and stabbing.

Sucking the life out
stitching stinging a fearful
most painful demise.

Why Study Scorpions hosted by The American Museum of Natural History contains an excellent collection of photos and information asking for more scientists to study these creatures and help collect taxonomy data. With the hundreds of species, many that have never been identified, most do not cause harm, although their sting may be painful. They simply have this reputation as a deadly insect.

For someone with no connection to this, this was an interesting and a little confusing. From a personal perspective, I did not find getting stung by a scorpion 7 times very 'healing' lol ... popped some antihistamins and limped to work that day. However, I could imagine that the sting could have healing uses, as do many things in nature.

Thanks for SHARING.

Hello Brett ~ As I reviewed my old Hubpages, I watched the man with 5000 scorpions and thought of bee-sting therapy which alleviates symptoms of arthritis, stiffness, inflammation and swelling. Can you see the relationship between the effects of bee sting and rheumatoid arthritis?

In the same way, scorpion stings may have healing effects upon the body. Snake venom which may stop a person's heart has been used in medicine to make the blood flow and also has numerous healing properties in acute situations.

In the conference, the MD presented a live case shown on video. The individual has been excruciating pain for years with headaches. As she went into a trance-like state reviewing the symptoms of her headaches as they approached and went through their cycle, it was as if she describe precisely how a scorpion attack would feel and present.

This energetic homeopathic remedy was given and within a short amount of time, the patient ceased having any symptoms, whereas, no other medications had helped in the past. Quite incredible. More people need to learn about these remedies.

I'm very glad that you were not affected adversely.

Blessings

My brother is being treated for advanced throat cancer in Tucson Arizona ... He is taking radiation and chemo. Even with the pain meds and numbing mouth wash he isn't able to swallow so he was scheduled today to get a stomach tube so he can get nourishment. Sunday nite he was laying inbed miserable when his wife begged him to get up and see this beautiful double rainbow over the mts... Thinking it might be the last rainbow he lived to see he went out into his yard barefooted. The rainbow was beautiful and awe inspiring but he was stung by a scorpian. All of the close urgent cares were closed so after driving around he told his wife he would prefer to die at home. At home he felt better and better and before the night was over he was eating! He has continued to experience diminished pain in his throat so canceled the surgery. I looked up scorpion and cancer and found that Cubans are doing research on this! All I know is that he is crediting Divine Intervention with the scorpion sting in helping him out!!,

Dear Anne - Thank you for sharing your brother's story and adding to the database of knowledge. Truly Divine intervention and may he live a long healthy life.

If all the painful symptoms recorded go away then perhaps others could benefit from a supervised dose of this venom in similar cases. Let us all learn together and be open to God's natural gifts. Blessings, Debby
