How To Wisk My Day Away

 My day starts off good

A little writing that puts me in the right frame of mind 

I feel the energy carry me

My thoughts start to develop

An  image in my head

I roll on with the next line

My wife calls can you help me?

I pretend not to hear

Honey I need your help?

This is it the final curtain call

I can not put off what I have to do

But can't you see

I was writing

I know her answer only to well

Do you want to eat or what?

I get up and stop what I am doing

She needs me to wisk the gravy

I am standing here wisking away

Thinking this is how I spend my day

This is only the beginning I know

Then there are dishes to be washed

We have to eat and clean up

We have to get ready for work

Then my writing is put on hold

She asked if I did the laundry

I started it

I have a chance

If she watches t.v. while she eats

I ask her do you want to watch your program you were enjoying so much?

No I wasn't really paying attention to it

My dreams are dashed again

Why would she be watching t.v. and not paying attention to it

Well lunch is over and  crunch time

I have to finish this hub before she calls me again

No chance

I am asked to bring the cat in it is raining

This is way my day goes

She is on the phone I can have a little time

She cut it short that is not like her

She is calling my name

I will be right with you

I was doomed from the start

Talk to you in my dreams

Since I don't have anytime to write

This day is over and hope you have more time than me
