In Pursuit of Dreams
In Pursuit of Dreams

Stealthily, determinedly, the fox stalks his prey, securing the opportunity of surprise with all consideration for possible evasion and escape. How tactile his deductions and so skilled in execution, an innate talent for survival surging through his veins. At his command the choices of life-and-death, enacting purpose and acknowledging what he is. His actions bare no result other than nature’s own remedy for balance. There is no qualm, no malice, no guilt, only action within the landscape of life.
How different we are to the fox, and how complex is our view of attainment and securing the substance of our dreams. An animal does not consider his action in any way, but simply lives his purpose and maintains his survival. Our considerations are expansive and often contradictory, creating confusion and many obstacles both physical and psychological, as a result.
We envisage our wants and create a long and exhaustive path to securing them, with every consideration of method and outcome, morality and sifting through doubts, irresolution and outright failure. By our process we create so many possibilities our dreams are often lost to the result of hesitancy. We are our own worst enemy.
Interestingly enough we ignore the lives of the assumed lower forms of life, and wallow in our own created reality. Nature in its spender is a paradigm of balance and harmony, one that we see in only superficial ways instead of learning from this state of perfection. Our ineptitudes are only surpassed by our arrogance and ignorance, thinking that intelligence and free will give us a far superior understanding. And yes we have intellect, but also the subconscious ability to disarm and sabotage everything in which we strive.
Our determination is often blinded by the surrounding circumstance and the detail of what must be overcome to attain our goals. Humanity is adept at narrow-mindedness, often unable or unwilling to view the periphery. Many times the answers await us in the periphery, the true nature of values hidden beneath the layers of the outer more obvious realities. We so cling to the physical, wanting to place everything in neat little boxes, but with our minds seeking give it the same limits and enclosure. We simply don’t see what we do and how we fail ourselves in action.
Dreams are about creativity, the mind envisaging a wanted and possible outcome. Our determination and pursuit should be a considered process of thought, giving ideas flight and complete freedom from the limits of our physical beliefs. From our thoughts eventually comes circumstance as detailed and as clear as our thoughts firstly. Determined pursuit causes pushing and the obstacles it creates.
Dreams are always obtainable with calm and considered focus. There is a great saying...
‘Softly, softly catchie monkey .’
