Inspiration From Lord Ganesha

Inspiration from Lord Ganesha

Just have a look at the picture of Lord Ganesha that is accompanied in this article.Do you get some sort of inspiration from this image.Well as a matter of fact we all have asked for gods help at some or the other time. But what about the inspiration ,so to help you gain some inspiration here is Lord Ganesha himself. Well friends if asked that in what ways does god inspires us then most of us would answer some thing typical like ....to do hard work, honesty etc. etc...... But the question is that how he does it through just a image of his hanging in our walls.
Well answer to that is very simple actually these images are very symbolic, for instance take the example of Lord ganesha himself.
THE BIG HEAD you see inspires us to think big.
THE LARGE EARS inspires us to listen more and remember that listening involves both physical and soulful involvement .
SMALL EYES inspires us to concentrate deeply, cause better the concentration the better is the understanding.
SMALL MOUTH inspires us to talk less.
ONLY ONE TUSK inspires us to throw away the bad in us and keep only good with us.
THE TRUNK inspires us to be highly efficient by developing adaptibility in us.
MANY HANDS inspires us to do hard work without which however good you may be you are useless.
LARGE STOMACH inspires us to digest every good and bad in this society.
MOUSE is the symbol for our desire which we must keep under control and make sure that its we who drive it and not it who drives us.
PRASAD(offerings) are symbol that if we have all these qualities in us then the whole world and it's luxuries would be at our feet's.

Hope that you will follow up the Lord Ganesha's steps towards an eternal life....................
