Inspirational and Motivational Quotes for Students and Teachers
As a teacher, I do not only see myself as having the responsibility to teach and impart knowledge about different subject matters to my students; but, I also strive to motivate them to aspire to achieve excellence, and the best in whatever they do.
The start of a new school is always a challenging and overwhelming for most students. Some students see themselves achieving their best in all their subjects; others see themselves as failures, while still another small percentage of students show no interest in their education.
The challenge for me as a teacher is not only to keep the motivated students motivated, but also to motivate and to inspire hope in the those who see themselves as failures. On the other hand, one of my goals is to get that small percentage of non-achievers to leave at the end of the year with a sense that they have achieve something that will make them a better person, ready to contribute something worthwhile to the world.
Over the years I have collected and used motivational and inspirational quotes as one of the strategies to inspire and motivate my students to achieve their best. Here is a collection of some quotes I have used with different age groups during my teaching career:

Teachers are given one of the most life changing jobs in the world; that of shaping , molding, and imparting knowledge to lives. It is a great and wonderful opportunity! I do hope as teachers we have been able to make great and lasting impacts in our students’ lives. Each day I ask God to help me to make a positve difference in the lives of those He has entrusted in my care.
