Sometimes we get caught up in our routine, we lose our inspiration, we forget our passion for the things we love, it gets hard to feel motivated to do something in your life again. Don't worry you're not alone - everybody has day's like this, when you wake up in the morning and you know you have responsibilities, and things to do, but you just feel like sleeping a couple of more hours, students at school can easily give up on homework once they stop feeling motivated, inspired to do it.

You already know getting back up ain't that easy. When I feel like I want to give up everything, there are always people who inspire me, rather a friend, family member, or a famous, well-known person. Just reading about the lives of other people, who experienced even bigger struggles then you and still stood up again and continued to pursue their dreams and finally succeeded - make you feel really inspired and motivated.

Reading inspirational quotes is also a really great idea when you're feeling down. It's interesting how one sentence can turn your whole day around, from unproductive to productive.

In this hub I'm going to talk about some people that motivate and inspire me, they are truly great role models to follow.

Thomas Alva Edison

Thomas Edison

Thomas Alva Edison

Thomas Edison is the perfect example of a "never gonna give up" type of person, this man is all about perseverance, he perfectly described himself with a very good quote:\

"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. "

Edison is a great American inventor who invented things like the light bulb, phonograph, the motion picture camera. Also he greatly contributed to the creation of the first power station in Manhattan Island, New York. Because of these creations he made huge profits and became internationally famous.

"Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. "

What's so fascinating about Thomas Edison?

Well, in school his mind often wandered, so his teacher called him confused, mixed up, addled after such teacher statements Thomas Edison quit school, meaning he only went to school for 3 months! His mother home schooled him, now imagine the odds, going to school for 3 months, everybody thinks that your stupid, it is hard to find faith to move on but he did, and now look at the results.

"Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. "

Imagine the courage, both Thomas and his family had, to take a step like this. Thomas was risking everything! He knew his hard work would pay off, so will your's only if you're not afraid to try!

"There is no substitute for hard work."

Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is a retired professional NBA player. On his biography on the National Basketball Association webpages, he is named as "the greatest basketball player of all time" now that's a title to be proud of! Now Jordan is an active business man, majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, but has worked really hard for his success.

"I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying. "

Jordan is one of the best defensive players, he has won five MVP (Most Valuable Player) awards, ten All-NBA first team designations, fourteen NBA All-Star game appearance and many more inspiring accomplishments.

"I'm not out there sweating for three hours every day just to find out what it feels like to sweat"

Michael Jordan didn't make it to his school's basketball team, he just went home, locked himself in his room and cried. Although I think every time he has lost motivated Jordan to never give up and keep on moving forward.

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. "

Jordan was amazing under pressure, I like watching him those last seconds of the game with a confident look on his face, ready to make the shot and win this thing!

"I've never been afraid to fail. "

Then why should you be?

Eminem, Slim Shady, Marshall Mathers

Eminem - Mockingbird

Eminem

Now here's another one of my role models, his name is Marshall Mathers, but you would easily recognize him if I'd call him Eminem. Maybe he's not a perfect role model as a person (he had troubles with drugs, legal issues) but the way he looked towards his struggles and moved towards his goals is really amazing and inspiring.

"Don’t do drugs, don’t have unprotected sex, don’t be violent. Leave that to me."

First of all he has 11 Grammy Awards, his album "The Marshall Mathers LP" became the fastest selling album in history. Eminem in 2009 earned the title of the best selling artist of the decade, and he can also be found in the list of best-selling music artist's in the world.

“There was a while when I was feeling like, 'Damn, if I'd just been born black, I would not have to go through all this'.”

Marshall's father left after Marshall's second birthday. The kid was left as an only child, and had to grow up in poverty and got interested in to rap when he got himself a copy of a Beastie boys album.

“I try not to look at it that way. Being white. I don't wake up every day and look in the mirror, 'Oh. I'm white'.”

But Eminem had to go through some major struggles as well, he had to repeat the ninth grade twice, but then he finally dropped out of school at the age of 17. Everybody taught he was a loser, just an underachiever that will probably never be somebody in life. Eminem had to make money for his daughters and wife fast, in my opinion these extreme conditions pushed him in to risking everything and just not looking at his failures and try to get signed to a record label. You can see the results.

"Success is my only motherfucking option, failure's not”

Walt Disney Cartoon - Donald Duck

Walt Disney

You should know who Walt Disney is - because everybody was a kid once! Everybody knows Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Donald Duck and other characters from the cartoons that we used to love as children and some of us still adore this amazing cartoons.

"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. "

Walt Disney is one of the co-founders of the Walt Disney of Walt Disney Productions. He has 26 Academy awards, and also can be proud of 7 Emmy Awards. The Walt Disney company now has an annual over 35 billion dollar revenues.

"I always like to look on the optimistic side of life, but I am realistic enough to know that life is a complex matter."

Walt Disney dropped out of school at the age of 16, and joined the red cross. Later on Walt Disney wanted to work at a newspaper, create a career there but nobody would hire him! Some newspaper's would even say his ideas we're unoriginal! But now look where he is!

"I have been up against tough competition all my life. I wouldn't know how to get along without it. "

In conclusion

In conclusion I would like to say that people who faced their fears, weren't scared of failure, persistently tried again, never lost hope achieved great things in life. You know you can too if you, if you feel like failure is hard to live it just remember Thomas Edison as he try to try again in order to create the light bulb. When you uninspired and motivated just remember these people remember what they've done, and remember that you can do too if you only really want to.

No matter how hard it gets keep your head up, and you know you can do it!

I don't think Curt would have much of a shot winning any eleocitn. Is there anyone out there who actually likes him? For all he did for Boston, still every Boston fan I know doesn't really like him, they just respond to questions with something like, well, I'm really happy for what he helped accomplish for us, but he should shut his mouth because he's an idiot. As for Moose in Hall, I guess it makes sense that he not get in if we look at his peers who will be getting nominated around the same time- Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine, Randy Johnson, Clemens, Pedro. Those are all guys who were incredibly dominant. Moose, as great as he was, just wasn't in that league. While I have never thought much of Glavine, he does have the magic number and that's what counts to get him over the hump. As far as Moose playing on the Orioles in the 90s and Yankees in the 2000s, that's true that that probably helped him get some wins, but it's also true that pitching in the AL East probably took away it's fair share of wins from him. Facing at various times the Sox, Yankees, Orioles, and Blue Jays is not an easy task- far more difficult than playing in other divisions. This is the premier offense division and probably always will be.Side note: if Moose shouldn't get in before Blyleven- should Schilling get in before him? Or before Jack Morris for that matter? Schilling's got the 3000+ strikeouts, but he doesn't have the win total of Moose or Blyleven (who also has more Ks, as do Clemens, the Unit, Maddux, and Pedro). He also has the postseason record, making him similar to Morris. If you put those together does it make him Hall worthy? I don't know. I think right now people think he and Moose should get in, but in five years from now, with some perspective, I think people will answer no.'
