Introducing: K-12 Basic Education Program
Before the implementation of the K to 12 Program which covers six(6) years of primary education, four(4) years of junior high school and two(2) years of senior high school, Philippines is the only remaining country in Asia with a 10-year pre-university program.
It is design, to make Philppines' Education system design strengthen early childhood education, to build proficiency though Mother Tounge-based multilingual education and ensures integrated and seamless learning through contextualization and enhancement.
It is also a standard for recognition of students and/or professionals abroad. After the program, students will acquire Certificates of Competency (COCs) and National Certifications (NCs).

Pre-examination procedure
The first step is to know the admission procedures which normally starts with entrance test.

Filipinos who graduated or studied from school abroad have additional documents to be submitted.
But before we discuss that we must first know what are the basic requirements for incoming students before he/she is schedule for admission test.
1) Birth Certificate(original and photo copies)
2) Baptismal Certificate(original and photo copies)
3) ORIGINAL COPY OF GOOD MORAL CHARACTER / RECOMMENDATION
4) Xerox Copy of report card ( Certified True Copy by the Principal )
5) Id picture ( usually they ask for a 1x1 size )
6) Learners Reference Number (LRN)
7) Marriage Contract of Parents (some schools requires this some doesn't)
8) Entrance Examination Fee

Certificate of Eligibility / Evaluation / Recommendation
1)What's the certification for?
>The certification would include eligibility for admission of your kid, they will evaluate what grade or year he/she should be accepted here.

3)What should I bring before going to the office?
>Original Form 138 (report Card from previous School)
>It is advisable that you bring along with you the student to be transfer for his interview/test(in my case no test was given but we were advise to bring the child for possible test or interview).
4)Is there any fee?
>Good news there is none!(still base on my experience when i got the certification from DEPED MANILA
5)How long before the issuance of the certificate?
>That same day, you will get the certification less than 20 minutes it will be release to you..
