The Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Philippines

CAR is located in the eastern part of Luzon. It is composed of six provinces and a city: Abra, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, Apayao and Mountain Province. Baguio City is in Benguet.


The region is bounded in the North by Ilocos Norte and Cagayan; in the South by Pangasinan and Nueva vizcava; in the

East by Isabela and Cagayan; in the West by Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur and La Union.


The region, being in the highlands, offers a cool and invigorating climate which attracts tourists and the people from lowlands during the summer months. The season are not very pronounced but the climate is relatively dry from November to April and relatively wet from May to September.

Products and Industries

Cordillera is an agricultural region. The major products grown arerice, potato, cabbage, lettuce, cucumber, onion, tomato, banana, etc. Mining is a major industry in the region. Five of its mineral resources are gold, silver, copper, bronze and iron. The region is also noted for home industries such as woodcarving, rattancraft, handloom-weaving and pottery.

Sorry pero hate ko ito konte, becuz nag-hahanap ako ng mga products ng ''CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION". Akala ko may nahanap na akong products, at yung vegetables at fruits na sana gagawin kong example, but, nakita ko sa book ko nakalagay doon na ang vegetables at fruits ay examples of natural resourses.
