Poem - Through the Eyes of a Teacher
I usually teach adults, but in the past 12 months, decided to offer “one to one” Tuition support to kids from the ages of 8 to 12 years old. It's the Easter break this week and reflecting on the past year, inspired me to write this.
Through the Eyes of a Teacher
If you smile,
their hearts open for a while.
If you shout,
they’ll wonder what the lesson’s about.
If you praise,
their grades will raise.
If you bore,
they’ll keep their eyes on the door.
If you look closely for a while,
you’ll notice the naughty ones behind the angel smile.
If you love and care,
any worries they have, they will share.
If you are funny,
they won’t forget you in a hurry.
Fill them with words that are positive
and they’ll remember anything’s possible to achieve!

Ps. Thank you for reading. I hope many people can relate to this, particularly if you are a Teacher or parent. (◕‿◕)

Things Teachers should Never do.
Hugging is something you tend to do to your friends, family, people you feel warm towards and not something you would expect from a Teacher to his/her students, but sometimes it Just can’t be helped. January 2010.
Things I have personally noticed about people who laugh a lot. Thought provoking. Laughter is Good.
