So Beautiful Is Our World
The beautiful. the marvelous, the wonderful, Yet, it defies all description,
a morning sky in blues, pinks and reds, can provide a magic prescription.
The amazing grace of God's great earth, a gift beyond most, in its worth,
with the one exception, that's given to each, that is of our precious birth.
To see with eyes, to visualize, such a loveliness, provided for our needs,
for we then can transcend, and comprehend, the essence life precedes.
Our sight with which we are all endowed, such a special quality we possess,
and of the five, it is the best, although such a wonder, in having all the rest.
In hearing there is such a fine refrain, that's given in the songs, of our lives,
It's a genuine blending of life's heart beat, in the tones, that the spirit thrives.
For those fortunate enough to hear, there are few abilities to be held so dear.
this sense that projects beyond our sight, in focusing the sounds, all so clear.
Touch, taste, and smell, all senses, divine, shared by the fortunate, so blessed,
grand vibrations of living things, savoring sweet flavors and scents possessed.
Feeling cool morning's air, and windblown hair, brought on wafts, by a fair breeze,
together all blend and a message to send, such richness in treasures to please.
All beauty, all the marvels, and the wonders, together, are our world, in their sums,
casting spells, like a gifted musician may, as upon a stringed instrument, he strums.
Moonlight streams down on a sparkling lake, as a night bird sings a lonesome refrain,
a delightful scent, comes in a morning's sunshine, from the landscape, of its domain.
