Slimming down can help prevent diseases,and cutting way back on the amount you eat(calorie restriction)may slow the aging process .If people cut down 25% of calorie intake ,then they will have less DNA damage than people who are on dieting.they also have low fasting sugar and body temperature ,both are connected to longevity.Calorie restriction is not easy as you have to consume 25 to 40 percent less than usual.The more you cut ,the better,but 25%is a good goal .so if you consume 1800 calories a day that is you have to drop to 1350.The diet should be low in sugar and low fat and the food you eat must be rich nutritional powerhouse .Atypical dinner of 2 bread(whole wheat),1 1/2 cup brown rice served with 1cup each of cereal or mixed legumes,mixed vegetables,green leafy vegetables ,salad, curd(made from skimmed milk )and fruits.Non- vegetarians can substitute the vegetables with 30 grams of steamed or baked fish or chicken (skinned)but with only 1/2 cup of cereals and half a cup of curd .and drinkg plenty of water to remove toxins from your body and also keep a check on your metabolism
Make friends Get married if you are single or adopt a dog .
Social support ,in the form of friends ,family neighbours and colleagues ,can prevent age related spike in blood pressure that raise your risk of stroke and heart attack .Socializing keeps your brain cells working and keeps forgetfulness at bar which is the biggest problem of aging ,you may keep your brain engaged by reading books too.
TYING A KNOT:-is one more way to have long life .It acts as an anti ager.Marriage can add 7 years to man's life and 3 years to woman's life
.GET A PET:-
Get a four limb (pet) company ,pets can reduce stress and lower blood sugar level ,and even help heart attack survivors live longer
EXERCISE OR WALK:-
Get moving!You may live longer if you can exercise and can attain better life as you age .It's not necessary that you jog or run ,just walking briskly for 30 minutes a day (EITHER IN ONE SESSION OR IN TEN MINUTES STINTS)
