The Biggest Natural Cappuccino

I came again with another natural phenomenon. It’s really weird for me until I want to write this and share with others through this hub. Nature gave us everything we want and sea is the biggest part of the world. There’s something interesting happened in the sea and it’s amazing phenomenon. Have you ever heard about sea foam? And I think most of us know cappuccino. The last question is have you ever seen the biggest cappuccino? For coffee lovers, maybe we all know cappuccino. Cappuccino is as Italian coffee drink and topped with micro-foamed milk. It usually served with espresso, hot milk and steamed-milk foam. The main attraction from cappuccino is milk foam. We can see artistic drawings on the top of this drink. Cappuccino often decorated with artistic art called latte art. With various topping and sprinkled onto the top of cappuccino, like: cinnamon, raw sugar, shaved chocolate or other spices.

After we know how cappuccino as delicious drink. But now we can see the biggest cappuccino on the beach as sea foam. Sea foam is kind of sea phenomenon created by the agitation of seawater. This phenomenon caused by offshore breakdown of algal blooms. So, it’s like the biggest cappuccino spread on the beach. The foam contains higher concentrations from dissolved organic matter, like: lignins, lipids and protein. The foam can be blown by strong wind onto street and sidewalks. We can see this from the pictures and the video below. We should be careful with the foam if it contains a harmful algal bloom. If we direct contact with the foam, it can cause respiratory discomfort and skin irritations.

The pictures here were taken from the stormy weather hits the city's Sea Point beach front in Cape Town. Trusted information said that the storm was a really wild in two days, including hailstones and massive swells. The street and sidewalk was flooded by the storm surge and the foam in everywhere. Just for information, Cape Town is well known as the second-most populous city in South Africa. Cape Town is on the Atlantic side of the Cape Peninsula. The water is cold if we try swimming at any of the western beaches. At the incident, the sea foam is crossed over the roadway on Cape Town's Mouille Point in the storm that swept across the Southern and Eastern Cape coast. The foam also covered the car as well. The main road along the front to Sea Point and the promenade sunk with foam during the storm. Cape Town itself is around 33* 55' south and the storm is generally swept through the Great Southern Ocean.

From the pictures we can see how the sea foam is like massive cappuccino. Cappuccino wave attacked the city along the coast. The video was shown to us how the sea foam created a chocolate wave and this phenomenon totally weird happened on the beach. The pictures had proved to us that nature has another hidden secret. This phenomenon makes a lot of people are fascinated. It proved that many screams from the people as the witness of sea foam during the storm. But I hope we can learn from this phenomenon. Thanks for reading and watching!

The sea looks drinkable with that creamy foam and will certainly send one to the nearest restaurant for a cup of cappuccino.

I know Sea Point in Cape Town very well. One can sit there for hours just looking at the sea.

For 2012 Tripadvisor has named South Africa's Cape Town as the best holiday destination in the world. Second is Australia's Sydney, third Machu Picchu, Paris fourth and Rio de Janeiro in fifth.

I wouldn't drink that cappuccino! Thanks for the interesting hub as always Prasetio. It reminded me of a news man here in America. During hurricane Ilene he stood by the Ocean and let all of this nasty sea foam cover him from head to tow. I think that he even commented that it got in his mouth. After the fact they found out that the foam contained raw sewage! Be careful with those natural cappuccinos.
