We are Forgiven!

We are Forgiven!

Jesus paid our sin debt in full

Sin will always be there beacuse in Romans 7:21 it states; When I want to do good, evil is right there with me". In our inner being we deiight in God's law, it is not in our hearts to do evil therefore it was not our intention but it was in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God-through Jesus Christ our lord!

In Romans 8:1 and 2 states that "There is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Jesus Christ the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death"

Troublesome Me

A WISE woman once said, "The person I have the most trouble with is the person I see in the mirror everyday. Surely this is an honest admission. What Christian has not sincerely grieved over her own spiritual shortcomings: over "do-ing those things I ought not to have done and leaving undone those things I ought to have done.

No follower of Christ was ever more acutely conscious of this very trait and tendency than the apostle Paul. We might take comfort from this thought. But to allow ourselves to be trapped in Satan's snare-wallowing in despair-is to disparage the limitless, liberating grace of God. Let us not linger in this valley of spiritual desolation. There is a way to get rid of "troublesome you' or "troublesome me" the cry, "Who will rescue me?" (Romans 7:24) echoes to the very throne of God. The reply, ringing with triumphant deliverance, echoes to our very ears. "Therefore, there is NO condemnation fro those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8"1).

Jesus died so that we could be set apart from sin, from guilt and shame. We no longer have to walk or linger in it. We need to let go of the condemnation and self pity that is trying to destroy us. We will not be whole until we release it! Crush it out!!! and be made new/restored in our minds by the love of our Father Jesus Christ!

Isaiah 53:5 "He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed". WE ARE HEALED!!!!

Jesus paid it all. God knew before hand what we were to face in our lifetime, being born into sin and corruption of this world. Satan has power over the earth and is out to kill, steal and destroy all that God has created.

God sent his only begotten Son to give his life on the cross so that we could be saved from Satan's lies and deception. Lies that could destroy us and hold us in bondage and keep us from the love of our father in heaven.

There are many lies that Satan puts in our minds. Satan wants us to believe we are unworthy and that there is no salvation for us. He wants to keep us in his grips. He does this by entering our minds and our hearts to fill us with guilt, hate, lust, bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness. All the things that are evil and that have nothing to do with love. Satan wants to take us as far from love as he can. Satan is the destroyer of love and unity and the master of evil. He is crafty.

But God had a plan. Even though Satan had power over the earth God knew there was still a way for his people to be free from Satan's bondage, so he sent his Son to die on the cross so that we could be saved. God also made sure we had his word to live by through Jesus Christ. Jesus came in the flesh to teach us the way, the truth and the life. God wants us to except his gracious love, for it is by his grace we are saved.

Colossians 1:13 and 14 says "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins".

Galatians 6:14 says "May I never boast except in the cross of our lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world".

As spoken in 1 Peter 2:11 "Dear friends, as aliens and strangers in the world, to obstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul". So you see, we are no longer of this world but of Christ.

We don't have to be in bondage or captivity. If we believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead we are saved and free from all Satan's traps that he has set for us. Traps like a hunter waiting for his prey. He will do all he can to seperate us from the truth, the truth that will set us free. Free from Satan's strongholds. Satan is the master of division.

God did not leave us empty handed. We can stand against Satan's spiritual warfare by excepting God's love and forgiveness. We are forgiven! God knows what we are up against and he will not leave us nor forsake us! We have a loving God! God makes "all" things new!!! The old is gone away. The only true forgiveness is through our lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus said in John 14:6 " I am the way and the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father except through me". WE can be restored from whatever we have or are going through. We don't have to suffer anymore because Jesus did it for us!!! There is Salvation because...Jesus... Paid it All~! By his wounds we have been healed. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness. He says so in 1 Peter 2:24.

If you have not excepted Jesus Christ as your Savior there is still time! Right now!! Do this for you. Don't live another day with this lost feeling you have inside. Hasn't it caused you enough pain and sorrow? You can be free from it all! Ask Jesus to come into your life and fill you with his Holy Spirit so that you can be FREE from shame, guilt and dispair. It no longer has to control your life. Let it go, let God love you the way he wants to. Come home my child. Take some time right now and listen to this video and come home. Ye who are weary....come home.

Excellent!!! Praise God, You have delivered one of the best articles on God's awesome grace and forgiveness!! I love Colossians 1:13; "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."

To me: This says it all!! We are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, washed clean, made whole, and sealed by His Son as a redeemed child of God. This reminds me of an old song "Honeytree" used to sing; or perhaps still does, "Clean before My Lord I stand, and in me, not one blemish does He see."

He sees us now like His Son, without spot or blemish!! Thank you for this most inspirational Hub!

TimeHealsAll, Wonderful inspirational hub! This is why it is so important to know God and develop and ongoing relationship with Him! We are "In the world but not of the world!" As a child of God we now live to please Him! As we grow spiritually we become more conscious of how HE wants us to live. We are being transformed daily as we bathe in His Word it cleaneses us... "Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus"

As you so well stated: "But God had a plan. God wants us to except his gracious love, for it is by his grace we are saved." PRAISE GOD!!!

Wonderul hub! Thank you for sharing, Blessings!

This is a great hub, sister. Jesus indeed paid it all. Unfortunately, we sinful, fleshly people, allow Satan to pile on pain that we have in one way or another agreed to carry. We do it because it satisfies something in our own sinful makeup. Hopefully, as we grow, we spend less time in our own worlds of pain and more at the feet of our Savior who bled and died to make and keep us clean. We are forgiven but we do need our feet washed, like Peter did. Jesus said that in this world we will have pain, but some is our own doing. Love you.

Yes it is easy to get caught up in familiar territory even though it's like a roller coaster. I think it's because we have grown accustomed to the ways of the world. The ups and downs. God's way is new territory. New ground, firm ground. The soil is rich and the fruit is ready to harvest. We are God's family now and he will help us keep our feet on solid ground. Blessings to you all for your inspiring comments!!!

This is the message God wants us to get out to the world for this time and hour. I am blessed that my hub touched your heart and honored to see the link to it here, too! Jesus is the Light, and when we dwell in His Light He sees no sin, because we are in Him! 1 John 2:1 tells us, "My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous!" What a Savior!

So many including myself struggle with letting go of shame from life's circumstances and situations. We are not perfect therefore we can never live up to perfection. We fail, we fall short of the Glory of God. But thanks to Jesus we can be whole again!!! Thank you Judah's Daughter for your wonderful hubs that are full of wisdom!!! Blessings and Love!!!

I rest in the words of the picture at the top of your page, Jesus paid it all. One of the hardest things for a Christian to do is just to receive the finished work of God.

This is an inspirational hub. You are right. There are a lot of temptations when a person wants to do good. But what is more powerful that one's faith in God. As the verse in John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

May you continue to share His words.

No condemnation! We are sometimes are worst enemies. Focusing on what the enemy is saying about us, rather than focusing on what God's Word says! Looking at ourselves from a different perspective, trying to see ourselves as God see's us. Pure, Holy, and Without Blemish, because of what Jesus did for us!

We have to remember the price for each of us, was beyond rubies, beyond words, or works. God's children are priceless to Him...satan knows it and wants to hurt us,in order to hurt God. Everything has an alterior motive when it comes to the dark side of things.

God trys to show us, in so many ways....He is more powerful, and we can rely on His Strength, not ours:)

I am so thankful, Jesus paid it all, because I fall short time and time again. I would feel worse, if I didn't accept His forgiveness and the price He paid for our freedom. I am indeed greatful, that God made a way to communicate with Him, through His Son:)

Thank you GarnetBird! Our loads do become lighter when we give Jesus the reigns! We don't have to carry heavy loads anymore! Praise him! We don't need to struggle anymore once we realize and except and trust and know that he took it all! We can be set free from oppression and set our minds on him and walk in the spirit, his spirit! God bless you and happy you are a fan!

Evil is of the world and in the world and we can be free of it through Jesus Christ who paid for it by the blood He shed on the cross. Through His word (God's word) sent to this earth to teach us and guide us and His holy Spirit sent to indwell us and walk beside us to comfort us and help us to overcome all evil. Evil will try to prevail in our lives but God is more powerful than evil therefore we have hope and peace everlasting and evil cannot come against us. Faith and hope and peace will prevail all the days of our life and we will dwell in the house of our Lord forever! Amen and Praise be to God!!!

Thank you Sky321, Forgiveness has to be the most unselfish act. Excepting that no one is perfect and allowing that person to grow and have God work in their life and rising above it and believing God will remove and restore. We all have circumstances and we all react differently to them and the effects of those circumstances can be so different based on each ones experience with them. Everyone's perception is different and we can push a button with someone and not even realize it and the impact it may have may have nothing to do with us at all. Something from a persons past may escalate the situation and an explosion may occure and have nothing to do with the problem at hand. Having patience and faith is probably the best healer of all. God bless you!
