Unique Architecture Building: Conch Shell House

There is a unique architecture building located on the Island of Isla Mujeres or also called Women's Island in Mexico. The building shaped like a snail and known as Conch Shell House. The Conch Shell House was designed and constructed by famous Mexican artist Octavio Ocampo. The Conch Shell House looks like a giant shell. It looks white, clean, charming and beautiful to the eye especially when the lights are turned on at night. The Conch Shell House giving a distinctive impression with 180 degrees view of beautiful ocean.

The Conch Shell House is obviously inspired from seashell. The walls were made ​​to resemble a seashell, but with a structure that looks solid. It also uses 4000 real seashells and other items that found on the local beach and it’s used to decorate the house. The interior of Conch Shell House is surrounded by ocean and shell themed interior. The living room looks shine with bright color and the bathroom sink which is located on upstairs was made up from conch shell also the faucets are made out from coral.
