When Life Throws Us A Curve Let's Purr On Bye

I Keep Learning From My Kitten

There is no better joy for me than learning something new

I think I am smarter than my kitten but on different occasions she likes to make me look bad

When bad things happen she just purrs away

She doesn't hold a grudge longer than 45 seconds

Why are people so different ?

People have a tendency to carry a grudge through their entire life and they will bring it to the grave with them

They have had to deal with all the anger, burdens and loneliness that comes with it

I am going to learn from my kitten and let those grudges go

It feels so good

It is so great becoming a better person

Now I can let the unhappy past come to an end once and for all

Let bygones be bygones

It is time to listen to the animal world

They tell a wonderful story

All we have to do is understand their message

Most of the time we are too busy and totally ignore every hint

No mattter what happens to us in our life just accept it and move on

Life is full of so many thoughts

We can learn to keep only the good thoughts that make us better

Stop fussing about the petty stuff

We can now spend our new found time loving others who deserve our love

We can now feel this golden opportunity

A new lease on life

Our life is for us to find and enjoy every day not just some days or holidays

We don't have to settle for less no more

I am not sure why my family, friends or teachers have never taught me this

Maybe they don't have a kitten named Charlette to teach them lifes secrets

So here I am with a smile on my face and a heavy weight off my chest

All those past grudges released and set free

In with the new and out with the old

My new thoughts will open up a new world with new meaning

Wouldn't you know a new feeling almost instanty has come over me

Charlette my kitten jumped on me and wants to be thanked for all her help

I know progress can happen fast but this was a little too fast

Life that starts out good

Ends up good

Must be filled with good

Sweet! Dream On, I agree with you about learning to live life; enjoy life through the example of the animal world. They don't tend to, as you said, hold grudges or hate. Just simple, unconditional love. And, yes, why didn't our parents, teachers and mentors teach us this? We live in a world full of so many nagatives; so much pointing of fingers and blame and labeling...it's refreshing to see your words and that you attribute your "new life" to Charlette, the sweet kitten. Thank you for a sweet hub.!

Eiddwen I love getting her help. She is trying to steal all the glory just parading herself around as if she knows who had to put his tail between his legs on this one.Thank you for enjoying a little fun with life.Lucky Cats I am so happy that you enjoyed my little poem/story.I am sure she has alot more to teach me but in her own time.It is funny how I think I run her life and she keeps me on my toes and challanges my littlest thoughts.I told her about the nice comments that she got here on the HubPages now I think the fame has gone to her head. She wants special treatment and loves to show off.I will have to learn to live with it.Next she will want her own room.Have a great day and keep the smiles coming.

Dim Flaxenwick Now I am neck and neck. She fooled me by finding a bug on the floor I didn't see.I thought she was just being her lovable playful self until she started turning over the rugs and then I thought she just wants to be a rebel.I yelled at her and then I had to apologize.Next time I am going to be a little more cautious before I criticize. Thanks again and have a fun filled afternoon.
