What Is Wrong With You People?

The talking heads on T.V. proclaim that this is a "bad" economy, or that "times are tough" don't they?  That is just ridiculous and stupid.  I've been in the real estate business since 1999 - working with highly motivated owners of real estate and dealing with buyers alike.  I will admit that times have changed a bit from what it was 5 to 6 years ago, but time arent tough.  The only thing that needs to happen here is that people need to get off of their ass and make the adjustments that are necessary to survive in this day and age.

Just because of increasing gas prices and a new President, does that mean that people will quit having children?  Does this mean that they will no longer relocate on their jobs? Does this mean that military will no longer travel?  No!  And all of these situations are reasons that people need to move into a new (or different) house.  Thus , the need for real estate has only changed, it hasn't died.

There will always be a swing in the market one way or the other. It will always be one or the other - either a buyers market or a seller's market. It's up to you to make the determination of what needs to be done to serve those that need it the most, and model your business around that.

I think that's enough of my soap box. I see toooo many people - all over this country - who are making money doing real estate deals - rehabbing, wholesaling, short sales, and lease options.....simpley because they've learned to make the necessary adjustments.  Will this be you??
