I don't see one coming.  If ever there'll be WW3, it surely will be won by the side with the most well-disciplined, intellectual fighters, with advanced and modern war materials and armaments more than the opposite side.  And above all, it will have God's blessings.

Probably the nation with the most money will win.

Hopefully no one, because there wont be one... if there were to be another war, I would foresee it as another cold war, very silent, and politically correct.

Probably nations that belong to the one God. The hebrew prophecy, the islamic prophecy and the christina prophecy say that the end all of them will reunite under one God and fight in a last war versus all disbelievers, so mainly versus Asia.

Especially nations like India and China even as the most populated nations on this planet are at high risk to be destroyed in the future, because they are those who do not follow the one God. And the Chinese call themselves the sons of the Dragon and so are flagged as enemy.

If you read in Moses 5.20 there is the law of war from the one God already adressing how will be fought.

We western nations are very advanced, so a third world war will not be fought with normal soldiers, but with technology as we already have seen in Afghanistan and Iraq.

If it comes then to a real world war with the use of weapons of mass destruction, then it is very likely that bio technological weapons, race destruction wapons, will be used to simply to wipe out a complete continent that has other genetic.

After a few months the war would be over. Birds or other animals would carry in the viruses.

This is better than nuking, because the land then can be used after the war is over and mankind united.

The USA is NOT under "the one God", to be accurate. Separation of church and state is constitutionally guaranteed: despite some lapses in judgment since then, our founding fathers deliberately separated church from state for our own freedom/benefit.

Money and equipment wont matter in another world war. Assuming everyone is afraid of atomic bombs, the defenders will probably win. The insurgent model has been too successful in the last decade for someone to not use it effectively. A bunch of guys in caves have eluded the most advanced and well funded military in the world for 10 years.

Since we haven't had one in awhile, and since technology now is completely different (communications and military technology, as well as all other technology), I think it's unlikely that there WILL ever be a third world war.

It's certainly a glass-half-empty assumption to make that there would be a third world war.

I think that, if there is a third world war, we all would lose badly (if it were truly a WORLD war), if not catastrophically on a planetary scale. I haven't read anyone else's answer, so this is just my opinion--perhaps too optimistic and pessimistic at the same time...
