   What was your favorite subject when you were a kid?
   
   Mine was religion because I loved my religion teacher a lot. She is very sweet  and kind. So automatically I tend to like religion.

   My favorite subject was biology. It felt like it put me closer to the living world and also allowed me to understand and unravel many of the mysteries of the world around me.

   History -- and I must say, it still is my favorite subject . Literature and psychology come up as pretty close seconds.

   Enlish - I love creative writing. I also really enjoyed any foreign language class. The ability to communicate fascinates me whether it is through mouth or through writing.

   I loved reading, still do.  In second grade the teacher would read a little of a book every day, and it just made me want to get the book and read it myself.  I wish math was my favorite, but I never really excelled at math.

   I loved all the science classes. Playing around and trying to build the strongest bridge possible out of a sheet of paper exposed me to critical thinking in a way that nothing else in elementary school did. Writing and art were close seconds but they were more about creativity which I had already been exposed to by, well, being a kid!

   Geography! I loved it! Seeing pictures from all over the world really drew me in. For the first time in my life I had the chance to learn about our planet, to discover what it would be like to visit other places.
   To this day, even though I did not pursue geography as a career, I am still fascinated when it comes to learning about our planet. I use wikipedia almost every day to discover new towns, lakes, mountains etc. To me it still is an amazing subject!

    I grew up in a rather sparsely populated area, and my favorite aspects of fifth and sixth grade was goofing off and interacting with my classmates.
    
    Since I frequently got into trouble with my teacher, I spent many hours in the "corner" of the one room school, supposedly to dwell on my faults.  I learned that I was left alone when I read the Encyclopedia, and I think I read the Encyclopedia Britannica from cover to cover during grade school.
    Like the man said, "Everything I know I learned in grade school, and I have just been forgetting bits and pieces of this knowledge as time passes."

    I always took to reading.  I started to read well when I was young and would always consider reading as my favorite pass time.  I made many trips to the library and it always served me well.
